These logs are retained by VPNGate for at least three months and are used solely for monitoring abuse and ensuring network security. While Pangolin VPN does not have direct access to these logs, VPNGate may disclose them to authorities if legally required.
Our app stores VPN server connection details locally on your device, such as the VPN server’s hostname, IP address, network latency (ping), speed, and country information. Additionally, VPNGate configuration data (base64 encoded) is stored to facilitate secure VPN connections. This data is not shared with any third parties and remains on your device to ensure smooth operation of the VPN service.
If you use the ad-supported version of our app, we may integrate Google AdMob for displaying ads. AdMob may collect certain device information, such as your IP address, device identifiers, and app usage data, to serve personalized ads. This data is shared with Google and other third-party ad providers as outlined in their Privacy Policy.
The VPN service may also interact with VPNGate servers, which may log connection data such as timestamps, session durations, and connection metadata. Pangolin VPN does not retain any personal data; all user data is stored by third-party services such as VPNGate and AdMob. These services retain user data according to their own policies and for their required durations.
